Ed. note: Welcome to our daily feature, Quote of the Day.

I am interested and there’s a multitude of folks encouraging me to run.

Michael Cohen, who previously served as Donald Trump’s attorney, in comments given to Semafor on his potential run for Congress. Cohen, who turned into a Trump critic and was disbarred prior to serving more than a year of prison time for charges stemming from his work as the former president’s ex-fixer, would run as a Democrat, challenging Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) for his seat. Cohen most recently testified before a grand jury in the Stormy Daniels case, which resulted in a 34-count felony indictment against Trump.
